All submissions must be sent to padme.leia@gmail.com. Submissions sent to any other address will be ignored.

Graphics & Art

All graphics and art must be high quality. I reserve the right to refuse any submissions. If the submission is a photo collage, blending techniques must be used, no hard edges. In other words: don't just slap a bunch of images together and send it in. Below are examples.

Acceptable Unacceptable

You may not submit another's art as your own. If you do so, I will find out about it and you will be barred from any further interactive participation at LMLD. You will not be allowed to submit anything, including captions.

So that I know you read the rules, include the phrase "pink gorilla" in your email.

Fan Fiction

  1. Must be beta read. What is beta-ing you ask? Simply getting someone else to read the story and make grammar corrections and suggestions to improve the story. Just by reading a few paragraphs I'll know if the story has been beta-ed.
  2. Run spell check. I don't have time to run through every story for grammar and spelling mistakes.
  3. For goodness sake, please, please format it with proper paragraphs. I refuse to read or edit for posting anything that is one giant block of text or that has improper paragraphs (hint: new paragraph for every time someone speaks).
  4. Must be rated PG-13 or lower. LMLD is a family friendly site. No smut, no slash. Obidala fic not accepted, please stick to cannon pairings where appropriate (Han/Leia, Anakin/Padme), some non cannon allowed (Obi/Sabe, for example - nothing that goes directly against cannon pairings within the time line). If you want to write about Leia or Padme with a boyfriend before they got together with Han or Anakin, feel free.
  5. You must submit your own work. Anyone submitting stolen stories will be banned from further submission and posted about.

If your story does not fit the above submission guidelines it will not be posted. Period. I will email you and tell you why the story has not been posted, at that time you will have a chance to fix any problems and resubmit.

So that I know you read the rules, inclue the phrase "blue monkey" in your email.

Affiliates

Because of the increasing popularity of this site, I'm getting more and more picky about those with whom I wish to affiliate. Therefore, the rules.

  1. Both Star Wars and other fandom sites are accepted. Movie, TV, actor, and actress sites accepted.
  2. No site that has been online less that six months. If you made it through six months without closing down or abandoning the site, you may apply.
  3. Not currently accepting group sites (Yahoo!, MSN, etc.)
  4. Credits are a must. I will not accept any site that doesn't include a list of sources.
  5. Sites with a large section of 18+ content are not allowed. Family friendly sites please.
  6. Sites with good content and layouts preferred.
  7. Sites with stolen content, graphics, or concepts will not be accepted or will be removed when the theft is discovered.

If you would like to affiliate and you feel that your site meets the requirements, please email me your name, your site's name & URL, the fandom of the site, and a 100x35 button. So that I know you read the rules, include the phrase "orange elephant" in your email. I reserve the right to refuse affiliation to anyone for any reason. I will explain the reason for refusal. Affiliation requests are not taken via the tagboard.
