Luke Skywalker is Leia’s twin brother from whom she was separated at birth. After the elimination of most of the Jedi by the Emperor and Darth Vader, he was trained as a Jedi by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Luke started the Jedi academy and rebuilt the Jedi order. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker is married to Mara Jade. They have one son, Ben. |

Han Solo is Leia’s husband. They first met when Han accompanied Luke to rescue Leia from the Death Star. He is a former smuggler and served as a general in the New Republic for a time. Jaina, Jacen, and Anakin Solo are Han and Leia’s children. Jaina and Jacen are twins and all the children have earned the title of Jedi Knight. Anakin is several years younger than the twins and was named Anakin as a symbol of Leia’s reconciliation with her father’s memory. Anakin was killed during a mission against the Yuuzhan Vong. |

Mara Jade Skywalker is Leia’s sister-in-law. Mara was the Emperor’s Hand, a personal messenger who could hear his voice anywhere in the galaxy. Several years after the Emperor's death she met Luke Skywalker and trained under him at the Jedi academy. After a while of being uneasy friends, they fell in love and got married. They have one son. |

Ben Skywalker is Luke and Mara’s son (Leia’s nephew), named in honor of Obi-Wan “Ben” Kenobi. |

Chewbacca is Han Solo’s co-pilot and best friend. After Han and Leia got married he extended his life-debt to Han to include Leia and their children. Chewie is several hundred years old and has a wife and family on Kashyyyk. He died while saving Anakin Solo from death on a Yuuzhan Vong controlled world. |

Anakin Skywalker is Leia’s father. He is perhaps best known for his time spent as Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith. He was married to Padmé Amidala. |

Padmé Amidala is Leia’s mother. Amidala was elected at a very young age to rule the peaceful world of Naboo and after that to the position of senator of Naboo. She was married to Anakin Skywalker. For more details see her bio. |

Bail Organa is Leia’s adopted father and a member of the Royal House of Alderaan. He die when Alderaan was destroyed by the Death Star. |
